Daughter of a petty farmer, who committed suicide – works hard late night and early morning to score 90.8%

Prabhjot Kaur Gill, a rural underprivileged girl getting free education under Mata Bholi Ji Scheme in Akal Academy Puranewala has shown outstanding performance despite facing many odds in her life. She has scored 90.8% in CBSE 10th Results.

Prabhjot Kaur was very young when her mother abandoned her; and when she was 10 years old, her father, who was a petty farmer, committed suicide. Now she is currently living with her paternal aunt. She prepares breakfast and lunch herself before going to school. She is totally dependent on teachers for her studies and manages to complete the studies working hard late night and early morning.

Prabhjot Kaur is now pursuing Grade 11th with Non-Medical Stream in Akal Academy Puranewala.
